Of All The Pokeman Characters I Picked Pikachu
I’m curating a visual history of Pikachu through Pokémon trading cards. Eventually, I will donate some of these gems to children in my family and community who wouldn't otherwise be able to collect them.
Over the last three decades, Pikachu has evolved from a simple video game mascot into a worldwide icon of joy and ‘soft power’ that transcends borders and languages.
For me, collecting isn’t just about cardboard; it’s about capturing the different artistic interpretations of a character that has made millions of people smile, and packaging that legacy into something tangible for me, my friends, and my community.
